CEILING VOID CLEANING

Ceiling voids are often overlooked as a source of contamination for your critical Computer Data Centre environment.

In many instances, BACS has been commissioned to clean ceiling voids to remove contaminants left behind from the original construction work.

With the advent of new fibre optic technologies, the overhead computer space is now more critical for the operation of the Data Centre environment.

Cleaning of ceiling voids is recommended on a regular basis to prevent the need for more aggressive cleaning methods.

BACS has developed a unique method of covering/protecting server equipment during the service, allowing continual operation.

BACS will:

• Complete a full clean and decontamination of your ceiling void.
• Remove ceiling panels, where possible, or clean in-situ, cleaning them together with overhead fittings, cables and ductwork.
• Replace panels and remove covered/protected equipment followed by a thorough above-floor clean.

This service is provided at a convenient time to you, usually outside normal working hours, on weekends or in low production times.
